The MSA Profile has data for all newly defined Metropolitan Areas in the U.S.
The MSA Profile contains historical data from 1970 and projections to 2040 of
population by age and race, employment by industry, earnings of employees by
industry, personal income by source, households by income bracket and retail
sales by kind of business. The data and projections are for all Metropolitan
Statistical Areas (MSAs), states, and regions in the U.S. The 900-page volume
has more than 450,000 statistics. The MSA Profile data tables, and a pdf file
of the printed book, are also available on CD-ROM; the CD-ROM also has data for
all the newly defined Micropolitan Statistical Areas.

The Complete Economic and Demographic Data Source (CEDDS) has data for all counties in the U.S.
CEDDS contains historical data from 1970 and projections to 2040 of population by age and race,
employment by industry, earnings of employees by industry, personal income by source, households
by income bracket and retail sales by kind of business. The data and projections are for all
counties, states, MSAs, and regions in the U.S.
The books are not published in printed form in 2012. The PDF files of the printed books are on the CD-ROM. The spreadsheet files on the CD-ROM contain more than sixteen million statistics. $995 on CD-ROM.

Complete Database on DVD contains historical data from 1970 and projections to 2040
of population by race, sex, and age, employment by industry, earnings of employees by industry,
personal income by source, households by income bracket and retail sales by kind of business.
Data for all economic and demographic variables for all years 1969-2040 for all geographic areas
(U.S., regions, states, counties, MSAs, and Micropolitan Areas) are included: 118 million
statistics. The Complete Database on DVD differs from CEDDS in that it has every year of data from 1970 to 2040 and has the population data by single year of age cross tabulated by sex and by race, more than 1,500 demographic variables. $3,500 for Complete Database on DVD.

Desktop Data Files have data for a single variable, e.g. total population, for every county
and Metropolitan Area in the U.S. Desktop Data Files contain data for all years 1969 to 2040,
for all geographies down to the county level, for any economic or demographic variable in the
Woods & Poole database. The data is in a single spreadsheet file on a CD-ROM.
